Fueling the Full Band Experience

Band fees cover only about 50% of the true cost of our programs. The rest is made possible through fundraising, sponsorships, and generous community support.

Every contribution helps provide the experiences that define Zionsville Bands—from performances and competitions to equipment, instruction, and travel.

Fundraising doesn’t just support a program—it creates opportunities, experiences, and memories our students will carry with them long after their time in band.

FUNDRAISERS TO Support the Entire Program

These fundraisers directly support all Zionsville Bands programs and benefit every student.

Corporate Sponsorships
Sponsorship opportunities are available at Diamond ($5,000), Platinum ($2,400), Gold ($1,200), Silver ($600), and Bronze ($300), with varying levels of recognition and benefits.

Power Hour High-Impact Fundraiser
Each fall, students participate in a focused fundraising effort by reaching out to family and friends. This is one of our largest and most impactful fundraisers of the year.

Spirit Wear Sales
Annual sales include spirit wear and branded items like tumblers, umbrellas, and blankets. Our primary goal is to offset the cost of providing show shirts to program participants, this is not intended to be a profit-generating fundraiser.

Mattress Sale
Held each November, this unique community event offers high-quality mattresses, with a portion of every purchase supporting the band.

Marching Band & Guard Invitationals
Zionsville hosts large-scale competitions in the fall and winter, welcoming dozens of programs and supported by our incredible volunteers.

Dine to Donate
Partner restaurants donate a portion of sales (typically around 20%) back to the band. Check the band calendar for upcoming events.

Kroger Community Rewards Easy, Ongoing Support
Link your Kroger Shopper’s Card and a percentage of your everyday purchases is automatically donated to the band—at no cost to you.

Fundraisers That Benefit Individual Student Accounts

These fundraisers allow families to offset band-related costs by earning funds directly into their student’s account.

RaiseRight Easy, Ongoing Support
Purchase digital or physical gift cards for everyday expenses (gas, groceries, dining, and more). A portion of each purchase goes directly into your student’s account.

Friends and family can also participate and direct earnings to support a specific student, making this an easy way to extend your fundraising reach. Alumni and community supporters can choose to direct earnings to the scholarship fund, helping expand access and opportunities for all students.

Crew Car Wash Sales
Held each fall. For every car wash sold, 50% of proceeds are credited to your student’s account.

ButterBraid Sales
Offered each October, with delivery before Thanksgiving. Each item sold earns $5 toward your student’s account.

Mattress Sale
For each mattress sold with your student listed as the beneficiary, $25 is credited to their account.
